TNPSC Photo & Signature Size

A signature-resize tool preset to the common Indian exam default of 140×60px, 10–20KB — the band used by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. It auto-crops to the ink so there's no white border to trim by hand. If TNPSC asks for a different figure, use the full Signature Resizer and type it in.

Default preset

When to use a custom size instead

TNPSC occasionally changes its exact figure between cycles. If your form's notification lists different numbers, open the full Signature Resizer and enter them directly rather than relying on this preset.

Getting a clean scan to start from

Sign in black or dark-blue ink on plain white paper, photograph or scan it in good light, and crop out the surrounding paper edges before uploading — the auto-crop works best on a signature that's already reasonably isolated from stray marks or shadows.

Frequently asked questions

Is 10–20KB the exact official figure?

It's the commonly-used default across Indian exam forms, not a single official number for every exam. Confirm against your own notification.

What ink color works best?

Black or dark blue on plain white paper gives the cleanest auto-crop and the best contrast after compression.
