How to Use GIF Maker
- Drag and drop multiple images (JPG, PNG, WebP) onto the upload area — at least two frames are required.
- Reorder the frames using the ↑ and ↓ buttons on each thumbnail, and remove any you don’t want with ×.
- Set the frame delay in milliseconds (default 500) and the output width (default 480 px); the tool keeps the aspect ratio.
- Click Create GIF, watch the encoding progress bar, then preview the animation and click Download GIF to save it.
Benefits of GIF Maker
- All processing is done locally with a Web Worker — no file uploads, and the browser stays responsive during encoding.
- Frame reorder and delete controls give you full creative control over the animation sequence without external tools.
- Letterboxing ensures all frames are drawn at the same size, preventing jarring jumps in the final GIF.
- No watermarks, no file limits, and no account needed — build a GIF in under a minute from any photo burst.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many images can I add to make a GIF?
There’s no hard limit, but for a file size that stays under 1–2 MB (ideal for WhatsApp and email), keep the total frames under 50 and the width around 480 px.
Can I use HEIC photos from my iPhone?
HEIC is not directly supported. Convert HEIC to JPG or PNG using any free converter first, then load the converted files into the GIF maker.
What frame delay should I choose?
For a smooth action GIF, 100–200 ms works well. For slideshow‑style presentations, 500–1000 ms gives enough time to see each frame.
Is GIF Maker free and private?
Yes — it is 100% free, needs no sign-up, and everything runs in your browser; your data never leaves your device.
