Benefits of Blur Image

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I blur multiple separate areas in the same image?

Yes. Apply the area blur to one region, then draw a new rectangle over another region and apply again. Each blur is applied to the current state of the image. Use Undo if you make a mistake.

How is pixelate different from blur?

Blur creates a smooth, out‑of‑focus effect. Pixelate replaces the selected area with large square blocks (like a mosaic), which completely obscures the content and is common for censoring faces in news reports.

Is the original image modified permanently on my device?

No. The tool works on a canvas copy in your browser. Your original file on disk is never touched. The edited version is a new download.

Is Blur Image free and private?

Yes — it is 100% free, needs no sign‑up, and everything runs in your browser; your data never leaves your device.
