Add or Subtract Days from Date
Calculate future or past dates by adding/subtracting days, weeks, months, or years.
How to Use Add or Subtract Days from Date
- Choose the start date – it defaults to today, but you can pick any date from the calendar picker.
- Enter the number and unit – type a number (1–36500) and select Days, Weeks, Months, or Years from the dropdown.
- Toggle Add or Subtract – use the radio buttons to calculate a future date (add) or a past date (subtract).
- Use quick chips for common periods – click +30, +45, +60, +90, or +180 days to instantly fill the fields. The result shows the exact date, day of week, total days, and working days (Mon–Fri) in between.
Benefits of Add Days to Date
- Instantly calculate exact due dates for PF withdrawal (60 days), tax payments (30 days), exam countdowns, or pregnancy timelines without manual calendar counting.
- Quick chips for 30/45/60/90/180 days save time for common Indian administrative deadlines.
- Working‑day count (Mon–Fri) is shown as a bonus stat, useful for banking and legal timelines that exclude weekends.
- Works in both directions – add to find a future date, or subtract to find a past date, all with one tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does adding 30 days from January 31 give February 30?
No, the calendar adjusts automatically. Adding 30 days to 31 January gives 2 March in a non‑leap year (February has 28 days). The tool handles all month‑end and leap‑year cases correctly.
Is the start date counted as Day 1 or Day 0?
The tool excludes the start date. For example, “within 30 days from today” means tomorrow is Day 1. The total days count shows the exact number of calendar days between the two dates.
Can I calculate business days excluding bank holidays?
The current version excludes only weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Indian public holidays vary by state and are not yet included. The working‑day count is an estimate based on Monday–Friday only.
Is Add Days to Date free and private?
Yes — it is 100% free, needs no sign‑up, and everything runs in your browser; your data never leaves your device.
