How to Use Cash Denomination Counter

  1. Count notes by denomination. Tally the number of ₹2000, ₹500, ₹200, ₹100, ₹50, ₹20, ₹10, ₹5, ₹2 and ₹1 notes you have and enter each count in the corresponding field.
  2. Watch totals update live. As you type, each row’s total and the grand total update instantly. The total number of notes is also displayed.
  3. Use the target checker (optional). Enter a target amount to see the difference between your cash total and the target — useful for shopkeepers reconciling the day’s sales.
  4. Copy or print the summary. The Copy button copies a text summary of all denominations and the grand total; Print lets you take a hard copy for your records.

Does the calculator include coins?

The current version counts currency notes only. For coins, you can manually add the total coin value in a notepad and include it with the grand total. Coin denomination rows may be added in a future update.

Can I use this on my phone while at the shop?

Yes, the page is fully responsive. You can open it on any smartphone browser, enter the counts, and get the total instantly — no app needed. It works offline once loaded.

What happens if I enter a negative number or a decimal?

The fields accept only whole numbers. The tool ignores negative values; decimals are rounded down to the nearest whole number during the calculation.
